Love me like you mean it See FULL SIZE plz!

(Painted with Paint Tool SAI - Total: 2.5 hours)

Photo reference:

Many thanks to :iconeugene-kukulka: for the permission to use this beautiful photo!

Third Sitting - May 6, 2012: Another 30 minutes on the painting. (Total: 2.5 hours.)
I decided to stop here and call it a painting. I know I could have spent more hours to work on the details, but that does not add much to the emotion of the girl in the painting that I want to convey. Oh well... Tell me what you think.

Second Sitting - May 5, 2012: Another hour or so (forgot to keep track of the time AGAIN!) Gosh, I really wanted to finish this painting, but I could not because it was so large. (And I did not want to rush this one!) So, I'm going to need another sitting yet.

First Sitting - May 4, 2012:
I forgot to keep track of the time. This is the first sitting - about 1 hour or so.

You are amazing, my friend. I cannot imagine how a human being creates these things. I really enjoy the numerous shadow levels on the face and the arms. The background does successfully accompany the girl, even though that was not the focus. To be honest - this is pretty damn good, and you deserve a good ol' pat on the back.

However, it is sad that you did not do the dress with the same detail level, a that would really put it forward. Moreover, the dress is pretty much the focus of the drawing, so it is a bit disappointing. I would all about the different poses that would look better, but I do unrest and that this is an illustration of a photo.

What else I noticed, as I scrutinised your work further, is that you did not concentrate on the hands. It's not something one notices straight away, but, once looked upon, the level of detail on the hands do not stand any chance to better the quality of the face.

But I must conclude with a simple WOW. Your drawing really blew me away.
